CODE OF CONDUCT
Code of Conduct for Governing Body :
-
The Governing Body sanctions and accepts the matters proposed and passed through the Academic Council of the college.

It approves the prescribed new courses of study, restructure and redesign the courses to make it skill oriented and in accordance with the current industry scenario.

It would lay down the rules for admission in according to the reservation policy of the state Govt. policy.
-
It has complete administrative autonomy and right of appointing administrative staff and teaching faculty.
-
Construction of the guiding principle for Institute scholarships, studentships, medals, prizes and certificates fall under the duty of the Governing body.

Governing body must have neutral and unbiased behavior for all its stakeholders.

The body is formed to monitor institutional performance and quality assurance arrangements which should be, where possible and appropriate, benchmarked against other institutions.

Governing bodies ensure compliance with the statutes, ordinances and provisions regulating their institution, including regulations by Statutory bodies, such as UGC, as well as regulations laid out by the State government and affiliating university.8.

The governing body should ensure that non-discriminatory systems are in place to provide equality of opportunity for staff members and students.
Code of Conduct for Students :
Students seeking admission to College as well as existing students should give an undertaking countersigned by their parents promising to abide by the guidelines of discipline.​

Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of discipline and dignified manner of behavior inside as well as outside the college campus. They shall abide by the rules and regulations of the college and should act in a way that highlights the discipline and esteem of the college.

All students must uphold academic integrity, respect all persons and their rights and property and safety of others.

Any act of discrimination (Physical or verbal conduct) based on an individual’s gender, caste, race, religion or religious beliefs, colour, region, language, disability, or sexual orientation, marital or family status, physical or mental disability, gender identity is strictly prohibited.

Damaging or destroying college property or property of other students and/or faculty members is strictly discouraged.

No candidate shall indulge in, nor shall abet, any activity which may aggravate existing differences or create mutual hatred between any groups of students.

Any disruptive activity in a class room will be dealt with strict disciplinary measures.

Unable to produce the identity card, issued by the College, or refusing to produce it on demand by campus security, is severely discouraged.

Students must show proper respect to the teachers and be polite and courteous to the employees of the college.

Students are expected to adhere to the class routine for attending lectures/tutorials/practicals and follow academic diary for other extra-curricular activities.

Students must look at the college notice board every day to be apprised of the day-to-day information of the college. The University rules require a student to have a minimum of 75% of the total lectures, tutorials and practical delivered separately, failing which the student will not be permitted to sit for the University Examination.

Application for leave is to be made in advance and submitted to the Head of the Department of the concerned department. In case of illness, application for leave should be submitted along with a medical certificate (Issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner).

Any kind of addiction to illegal and unhealthy substance on the part of students is strictly prohibited.

Practice of ragging and eve teasing is punishable offence.

Students must help to keep the campus neat and clean and work to promote Green campus.

Students are expected to use the social media carefully and they cannot post derogatory comments about other individuals of the College on social media platforms or indulge in any such related activities having grave ramifications on the reputation of the College.

Smoking within the campus of the College is strictly denounced.
If there is case against a student for a possible breach of code of conduct, then disciplinary committee will inquire into the alleged violation, discuss the matter to recommend a suitable disciplinary action and accordingly suggest the action to be taken against the said student.
Code of Conducts for Non-Teaching Staff :

Every Non-Teaching staff should work within the institutional policies and practices so as to satisfy the vision and mission of the college.

The normal working period shall be of seven hours duration with recess for half an hour on.
-
All working days the commencement of duty hours is normally to be based on fixed routine, subject to such variations as may be made in case of exigencies.

All non-teaching staff must sign regularly in the attendance register which is to be maintained by the head of the institution.
-
All stafff members should display the highest possible standards of professional behaviour. They should be punctual and disciplined towards their work.

Every staff member shall maintain the appropriate levels of confidentiality with respect to student and staff records and other sensitive matters.

All staff members must refrain from any form of unlawful discrimination relating to gender/sexuality/age/marital status in their behaviour towards their colleagues, teaching staff and students.

All members of the staff shall refrain from verbal, non-verbal and/or physical misconduct of a sexual nature in their interactions with students, other college staff, and visitors at the college. The college has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment.
Code of Conducts for Teaching Staff :

Every faculty member should work within the institutional policies and practices so as to satisfy the vision and mission of the college.

During the period of service, all members of the teaching staff shall employ themselves honestly and efficiently under the Principalship of the Head of the Institution.

All the members of the teaching staff must be punctual for classes and should adhere to the timings scheduled for other activities and events.
-
All members of staff, both teaching and non-teaching must sign regularly in the attendance register which is to be maintained by the head of the institution.

The duties assigned to teachers consist of lectures/ practical/ tutorials in the allocated workload of the individual teacher. In addition, they have to undertake responsibilities of conducting evaluation and invigilation, administrative work, providing counsel to students and participating in extra-curricular activities and institutional support activities as required.

The working hours of the teaching staff shall be primarily guided by class routine and any other additional duty assigned to them.

The work load of a teacher is to be determined by relevant UGC norms and Government orders.

Encourage students to improve their attainments, develop their personalities and at the same time contribute to community welfare.

Every faculty member shall deal impartially with students regardless of their religion, caste, economic, social and physical identity.

Code of Conducts for Principal :
The principal is the academic and administrative head of the institution and works for the development of the institution.​

The principal shall ensure the smooth conduction of academic activities, functioning of college as per the UGC and CU norms, and functioning of various committees.

The principal shall hold academic council meeting as for the norms.

The Principal shall be fair in his/her disciplinary actions for both staff, students and others.

The welfare of the students is the highest priority, and providing adequate supervision on and off campus is one of his or her primary aims.

The Principal shall co-ordinate all the faculty, administrative authorities and supporting staff for their effective roles.

The principal shall closely monitor admission process in the college.

The principal shall monitor various academic activities, curricular, co curricular and extracurricular activities.

The institution maintenance cell shall work under the instruction of the principal.

The Principal should empower all staff members and students to reach their maximum potential.

The principal should always be honest, fair, law-abiding, objective and supportive.
